Silpat mats are made of fiberglass and food grade silicone. You can bake on a Silpat in temperatures up to 480degrees F. Simply use this specially–sized mat in your microwave and eliminate the need to clean the base of your microwave from foods that boil over or spill. The Silpat is much easier to clean – just wash in warm soapy water, air dry and store flat. Never cut on your Silpat or use butter or oil – it's already non–stick!
